i started watching some documentaries on netflix about people in Papua New Guinea and in Indonesia and im just fascinated by their culture and way of life and just curious how can one be like you and just go out there?

it’s just like traveling anywhere - show up and see what happens. there are actually over 800 different tribes and languages here - all pretty different from each other. you do have to be a bit fearless in getting out and meeting people. learning pidgin goes a long way…
